The expanded audit covers Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Morocco and Saudi Arabia explicitly document recent labour-survey redesigns; the UAE publishes federal labour-force data and a 2024 headline unemployment rate, but the reviewed public pages did not expose age framework, denominator and population perimeter with enough precision for us to code them as resolved.

HCP describes EMO2026 as the first of a new generation of labour-force surveys aligned with recent international labour-statistics standards. Release 001 therefore treats 2026 as a methodological event, not an ordinary continuation point.

Release 001 records what was directly observed and keeps inference separate. File timestamps remain file timestamps. Missing metadata remains missing. A method redesign is carried as a structural attribute of an observation rather than buried in prose. A public headline statistic is not treated as fully comparable merely because another country publishes a statistic with the same label.
