The Lab may be supported through research engagements, grants, donations or founder support, but a funding category is not reported as received funding until there is a qualifying record. As of 17 August 2026, no public funding record or percentage breakdown is claimed in this register.
Public funding register
Prospective grants, applications and possibilities do not count as funding.
No funding relationship is currently claimed in the public register.
When a disclosable record exists, it should state the funder or client class, amount or band where publishable, currency, purpose, period, research-control terms, publication rights, conflict status and disclosure level.
Research independence
Funders do not receive editorial control over findings. A commissioned client may have agreed review, confidentiality or publication rights for its own engagement, but those rights do not change evidence labels, validation thresholds, correction rules or the distinction between internally produced and independently verified work.
Future 2026 breakdown
Once the public ledger supports it, the annual disclosure may report categories such as founder support, research contracts, grants and donations as percentages. Until then, displaying percentages would create false precision.
Commissioned work
Commissioned work is governed by a written scope and disclosure boundary. Where permissions allow, a permission-safe engagement record may be published separately from public research. See Work with us and Funding & Independence.
